lyndalustard Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I can see and smell thick, white smoke coming from near the Northern General Hospital. Please drive carefully, especially with the weather being so bad too. Does anyone know whats happening there? I used to live across the road from the northern general and often used to see the smoke, me and my husband thought it might be the boilers or something.
*binty* Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Lightening hit one of the generators. I work there and that's what i heard. However, earlier on this morning when the smoke was about - they was letting steam out from the boiler area.
