Unofficial camp meet for Stagewalker's birthday bash 10th to 12th July 2009

Stagewalker's Birthday is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than in a field in the middle of nowhere.

 

We're off to sunny Youlgrave again, Church House Farm, a favourite campsite of the regulars and a great venue for newbies.

 

It's a basic site, facilities are toilets and a tap, but it's 4 miles from Bakewell, close to a couple of very good pubs and a couple of local shops.

For the adventurous among you there is a swimming area in the river, two minutes walk from the site, which I am eager to try out.

 

It's £3 per person per night

 

As per usual we will be BBQing on the Saturday night and following it with a camp fire and plenty of drink and good cheer, anyone wishing to just come for the BBQ itself will be more than welcome.

 

Families welcome, dogs welcome... EVERYBODY'S WELCOME!!

 

So lets help our good friend celebrate his 50th 29th in style.

I can't do the Friday, but will come down Sat afternoon and stay for the one night...

I shall be along most definitely for the saturday, and all being well the Friday too... sadly I doubt that I'll be able to offer a lift to anyone for this trip, as I no longer have use of the big car, which has gone to the big scrapheap in the sky.

Thanks for the heads up on this Stagey !! I could have missed it and how awful would that have been ???

 

OK well work allowing we shall be there for at least one night ie Saturday but if I am not required to work the Saturday we will be ok to do the two nights !!

PS is there a theme to the camping ?? I missed out on bringing my pirate/wench's outfit last time
