Location114
Just a quick question could you cope without your car? For medical reasons i dont drive so dont have a car or a scooter so my only form of transport is taxis or bus however i was just thinking i could really do with a car but as i said for medical reasons this isnt possible. Missdan
In a word - No. The buses in my area, don't take me to where I need to go.
Redyam
Easily - my work is 15 min walk away, bus and train links are good. town is close. I do have a car, but don't use it that much - its more for convenience.
Kidorry
Got rid of it about 15 yrs. ago and it was one of the best things I ever did.
horribleblob
Yes. It's a convenience and the buses really aren't that great at getting me directly to where I need to go; but when the car's off the road, I manage just fine ...and get lots of exercise t'boot. Guest teebee
nooo i would be lost without my car, the bus service where i live is shocking, and when i start work at 6am it would mean leaving to walk to work at around 5.30 which is ok in summer, but on winter mornings, i really wouldnt fancy walking down dark roads. honeyb35
No, I need my car. Disabled access on buses in my area is extremely hit and miss, and unreliable.
laineyiow
Definitely not. Wouldn't be able to get to and from work without my car. Only have a bus every two hours. So although I could catch a bus to get into work very early I would have to wait around for two hours to get back home! Can't afford a taxi - would cost me at least £20.
