seletory
Obviously someone would take on the part time position and then maybe look for another part time position, whats the reason for them not letting you apply? next time im just going to make up something, such as doing a training course, i mean getting something is better than nothing isnt it? and also the person on the phone decided to ask me this question after talking to me for five minutes. Grandad.Malky
Why is it that you cant have a part time job if your looking for full time? Who says that then.
HeadingNorth
An employer might be unwilling to take on as a part-time worker, someone who's openly admitted they seek a full-time position; since it's highly likely that they will leave the moment they find such a full-time position. I don't know if they can do this legally, but you'd have a very hard job to prove there was discrimination involved even if they can't.
seletory
ok so what if someone just says they are looking for anything they can get, then would the response be the same?
Grandad.Malky
ok so what if someone just says they are looking for anything they can get, then would the response be the same? Smacks of desperation, not the best thing to put across in an interview.
