superblade1! Â Â 10 #13 Posted June 19, 2009 Fleetwood mac are one of my favorite bands and I will be going. But it is very sad that Christine Mcvie won't be playing because in my opinion, she wrote and sung the best songs. Her voice is realy different to other female singers and thats what makes her so good. I bought her solo album "in the meantime" and its not particuarly the best but still! She has hung up her Fleetwood Mac boots for good Has anyone heard of the band "Chicken Shack". (the band she was in before Mac) Realy good blues band, Give them a listen. perplexed   10 #16 Posted November 3, 2009 So, it's the morning after the event, and I have to say, an impressive gig!  As Lindsay Buckingham said, there's no new album to promote (yet!), so they played a fantastic 2.5 hour set of all their well known stuff. I think it went down a storm.  The energy level were very high, when you consider that the core of the band have been knocking around for the best part of 45 years! (Buckingham's guitat solo on "So Afraid..." )  Loved it. Seen 'em before, can't wait for the next time...
 Share this content via...
