Like at least 76% of the population I will not be voting because the concept of the EU is a bit ridiculous.

I suspect the (less than) 24% who do vote will vote UKIP because they are the only people who seem to care about this election.

Well you could start by wikipedia'ing some of it's prominent members and checking out their histories....

I get sick of hearing the line "But they've got some great policies, it's not just about sending 'em all home"

WTF?!?!

What do you expect their manifesto to say "We wouldn't have a clue about anything other than mass expulsion of 'coloureds', but please vote for us anyway"?

As much as the number of people supporting them troubles me, if I ever get into double glazing sales, i'll look some of you up. Would be like shelling peas

You could also try and wikipedia British politicians fraudulent claims or just look towards the end of your nose.. Then maybe "Double glazing salesmen" Which i am sure would come out as "Job equating to Last Chance or Complete annoying no brainer with aspersions of a better car than his/hers present nissan micra" ;)

Anyone who is considering the Tories should be warned that they put forward a motion the other Friday to scrap the minimum wage. They have never liked the minimum wage as it takes away from company profits.

It was Tony Blair who brought in the minimum wage against much Tory opposition.

Thanks for that. Not changed anything about the fact I'll vote Tory.

Worrying to see the rise of the BNP though - I'd considered voting them as a bit of a bloody nose to the major parties but it seems a lot of people are having the same idea. Some interesting leaflets about the BNP being handed out in the Peace Gardens today - worth a read...

:loopy:

Where did I say that I had 'aspersions' (I think you meant aspirations, what you said means an attack on a person's character ) of anything related to double glazing?

I was merely using it as the first example that came to me of a system where the truly gullible are easily hoodwinked by a dreadful sales pitch.

the amount of votes for the BNP is an eye opener.

i expect them to gain many seats in these elections -due to the fact the main 3 parties have totally lost the support of the public

I think your right the 3 main partys have deffo lost our support and respect for that matter:thumbsup:

So you think that some dodgy expense claims justifies a background of racial hatred and violence? That's some logic

It's genuinely concerning to see that there are some Sheffielders who don't realise just what they are voting for in pledging their support to the BNP. Worrying times indeed....

This Forum always tends to see quite a high BNP vote, higher than the final election results. However, saying that it looks like they will get at least one MEP which would be a very bad reflection on our society.
