Not always, they are often driven to a new dealership - it takes ages to sort out a transporter and costs a bomb. It might account for the weird number plates too.

Could be vip private hire vehicles that have been for a service/vellet ect.I know someone who has a Q7 and some others that he hires out with a driver.
