Grandad.Malky Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Speculation doesn’t help any one you might as well say it was aliens or the Bermuda triangle, best wait for the facts.
HeadingNorth Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 My gut feeling is that its terrorism, but what do I know? My gut feeling would be the same at first sight. It is only having read about the reports of the plane entering a stormy region, and - particularly - the automated signal warning of an electrical failure, that now I am less inclined to think so. I would have thought that a bomb would destroy the entire plane in toto before any alert signal could be sent.
Harleyman Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 This is why I only fly on airlines that have Boeings in their fleet Mechanically still the most relable passenger planes in the world
boyfriday Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 My gut feeling is that its terrorism, but what do I know? Nowt about planes if I'm honest:thumbsup: ..Frank are you finding that you're having to sleep with the light on?
melthebell Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 ..Frank are you finding that you're having to sleep with the light on? yeah theres a load of muslims weaing backpacks under his bed
pem123 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 This is why I only fly on airlines that have Boeings in their fleet Mechanically still the most relable passenger planes in the world Hmmmm, there's a lot of Boeings in the world I agree they are good planes, but i'm not sure it would get me on some East African/Ex USSR airlines
HeadingNorth Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Brazilian air traffic control now reports that, as well as a loss of electrical systems, the automated alerts also signalled a loss of cabin pressure. That strongly implies that the aeroplane broke apart in the air. There is still no sign of the craft, or any wreckage thereof, being found. It must now be considered unlikely in the extreme that anyone has survived.
Paul2412 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 This is why I only fly on airlines that have Boeings in their fleet Mechanically still the most relable passenger planes in the world That's actually a ridiculous comment. FAR more Boeings have crashed. Take the Japan Air crash that killed 500 people due to a faulty repair carried out by a Boeing mechanic. The A330 hadn't had a passenger fatality at all up until today.
Crayfish Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 yeah theres a load of muslims weaing backpacks under his bed Whew. The muslims under my bed aren't wearing anything. Do you think I'm safe?
Antics^^ Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 *Waits for somebody to blame the "Muslims", for the disapperance of this plane....*
