Are indicators on BMW's and Black cabs an optional extra?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if indicators are a pricey optional extra on these vehicles, practically none that I have seen in the past week seem to have them.

If you are the proud owner of these luxury lamps. Please ****ing use them, it's not in my best interest to be knocked over just because you cant be arsed too.

Another BMW bashing thread i wonder what they drive if at all!

SO because I don't drive gives you the right to do whatever the hell you want on the road? Sorry, but indicators are there for a reason. I'll leave you to ponder why.

Couldn't agree more about the black cabs, they seem to assume everyone knows what they are doing. They also seem to thinks its fine to jump on the brakes in the middle of the road to pick up a fare or pull a u-turn wherever they feel like it!

To be quite honest, it's not just BMWs and black cabs at fault here. There's an increasing trend for nobody to bother indicating at all, and it's infuriating.

It's made worse at roundabouts where even if people bother to indicate, they don't do so correctly. Current fashion if indicating a right turn seems to be to indicate right all the way round, even when actually exiting the roundabout!

Surely everyone knows that you should always be indicating left as you exit a roundabout, no matter which way you've come?

It means now that you can't trust people on roundabouts even when they are indicating, so you end up waiting longer than you should, just to be sure of where other drivers are going. And this slows traffic down massively.

Of course you are correct. There are people driving all types of car who have no consideration for others.

I doubt that this is a serious posting. It is just a typical BMW, 4 by 4, and any other expensive car knocking thread, born out of envy.

The forum is full of them.

I'd freely admit that i'd love to own a BMW, they are most wonderful examples of engineering brilliance.

However, while it isn't true to say that all beemer drivers are idiots, sadly most idiots seem to be beemer drivers. That's not related to jealousy and it's not a thoughtless use of a cliche, it's simply borne from years of being 'on the road' and seeing it with my own eyes

I disagree. I find most idioyts drive small hatchbacks with 4 inch exhaust pipes, blacked out windows, daft body kits and loud music. I always thought that was a badge to tell the police that they wanted pulling.

Incidentally I drive a Mercedes and so don't have an axe to grind.
