Concerts   10 #1 Posted May 28, 2009 Summer Festival 06-19 June 2009 Sheffield Cathedral  Summer Festival is the result of a new artistic, collaborative partnership between the University of Sheffield Department of Music, and Sheffield Cathedral. Taking place on Saturday 06 June - Friday 19 June, the festival aims to deliver a jam packed series of events exploring music, art, film, literature and much more.  For a full programme of events and more information please see: www.musicandartsfestival.co.uk  Highlights include: Nosferatu the Vampyre – A performance of the silent film horror masterpiece, with organ improvisation by Darius Batiwalla, additional screens will be displayed showing the organists hands and feet  'Indus´ – A new cutting edge music group who fuse together Indian Music, Western Classical, and Jazz.
