Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is going to be a mom!

 

Lima, a Victoria's Secret Angel, and her husband NBA star Marko Jaric, are expecting their first child together, reps for the couple confirm to PEOPLE exclusively. Lima is due this winter.

 

"Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their first child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together," say reps.

 

The couple eloped on Valentine's Day this year, tying the knot in a small, private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

 

"We are so excited about our future together," Lima told PEOPLE at the time.

 

Lima and Jaric, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, met in 2006 and got engaged two years later on Lima's 27th birthday.

So it's finally come to pass. I can't begin to tell you how long I have been up till gone 12 midnight, praying that the Gods will bless this lovely couple with a child.

And now it's happened. I can't believe it. Who would have thought that these two shining beacons of humanity, idols if you will, could one day give the world a new life?

I've just got off the phone, I was speaking to my mother.

"Mother," I said, "Mother, are you sitting down? I have some great news to tell you."

My dear old Mum said: "Oh son! It's not what I think it is? Is it?"

"Yes mother!" I replied. "Adrian Llama and her basketball playing husband have conceived."

All I heard for around 20 minutes was a gentle sobbing.

My mum eventually said: "They've finally done it. God bless them."

I replied. "God bless them mum." and hung up the phone, before collapsing onto the stairs, myself an emotional wreck.

It surely is a miracle and I thank you for sharing this incredible news with us.
