Dozy   11 #13 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Why do you need a day to shout about your sexuality? Your gay, we get it  You might get it, but there are plenty of people who don't, even in the 21st century.  And there are plenty of people who are gay but scared to admit it, because of the possible reaction of their family/friends. Events like this help them to realise that you can be out and happy and that not everybody is hysterically homophobic.  PS Just re-read my response and want to say that I am not implying that you are homophobic! Thankyou Dozy  Whatever, chicken.  Having flicked through a few of your posts before I commented, I maintain my original stance.  Back on topic, we might even make it along this year. The only way that events like this can grow is with the support of the people.  Let's just hope the weather holds up ey?
 Share this content via...

Nothing worse than spending hours, days even, setting up an event & then have it ruined by the weather. All cross fingers.
 Share this content via...
Dozy   11 #20 Posted May 20, 2009 Dozy by name but NOT by nature !!   You're probably in a minority with that point of view!!!  I'm hoping to get along this year - couldn't make it last year due a previous engagement.  I shall take Zeb, my dog, in the hopes that Lotti will be there with her dalmation, Eddy. Apparently, they took a bit of fancy to each other when they met whilst Zeb was being fostered out for a month!! It came as a bit of shock to me, as he's got a little girlfriend, he obviously swings both ways
 Share this content via...
sTaGeWaLkEr   10 #21 Posted May 20, 2009 With you on this one Stagey. Nothing worse than spending hours, days even, setting up an event & then have it ruined by the weather. All cross fingers.  Just a tad. hehe  Although these things are usually well prepared for in terms of rain, it really does make a difference to an event if the sun's out. sTaGeWaLkEr   10 #22 Posted May 20, 2009 Shiesh, you spend more time living a gay lifestyle than I do. Should I be worried?
 Share this content via...
