what about setting a date and time to meet at the hillsborough hotel then to get a group on the go? there would be nothing to stop a change of venue afterwards if any better ideas came up. i am keen to learn and get going soon as :-).

i can't do tuesdays but could do mondays, wednesdays or thursdays at the moment. but to be honest it's your call becky b as you will kindly be our teacher!

I'd still be up for having a go at teaching people to knit...along with BeckyB (ideally).

Looking back through the posts there isn't going to be an ideal night is there? I can do Tuesday or Thursday - so how about we pick one of them and agree the venue and just see what happens?

I'm back! The holiday was great apart from the lack of knitting - I packed up a bagfull to keep me going and left it behind

Shall we say Thursday 9th July, 7.00 p.m.? The Hillsborough Hotel has a pub quiz on a Tuesday so it gets really busy...
