Recommended Posts

Looking for something fun and free to do this weekend? Artists studios will be open again this Bank Holiday weekend Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May. Venues are usually open from 11am-5pm, but please check the website openupsheffield.co.uk for full details of the 100+ venues across Sheffield/South Yorkshire.

Open Up Sheffield organise this annual art event where artists open their studios to the public or put on temporary exhibitions. It is a free, family-friendly, and quality arts event, giving a rare and fantastic opportunity to meet local artists and see their studios.

Also as part of this year’s event you could have the chance to win an original artwork.

The prizes are a choice from original artworks by:

Karen Graham – felt bag

Karin Hessenberg – ceramic tealight

Brian Holland – ceramic

Lyn Littlewood – painting

Helen Neale – indigo dyed scarf

Tim Rose – watercolour

Mark H Wilson – painting

and £30 towards framing from Yorkshire Framers

(Terms and conditions are outlined in the brochure).

Raffle tickets cost £1 each and will be available from selected venues during the event. (Money raised from the raffle will help to cover the costs of providing the full colour brochure free of charge).

We hope that you’ll join us this weekend and enjoy your visits.
