she shouldnt need landlords permission, however i wouldnt reccomend having 1 as they cost a fortune, your mates better off looking at other means of paying for her electricity

Shouldn't need permission, but wouldnt take my advice to be honest!

I have a prepayment meter and I put £100 on in the middle of march, and still got £30 on it now

Put £120 on the gas at the same time, only got £17 on that.

We have an electric cooker, but CH which is always on!

The OH turned down the kilowatt something or other on our boiler too so apparantly that saves gas/electric not sure what he said.

I'd be gutted if I got a nice hefty bill it every quarter. Love my meters.

Yeah its always that bit more expensive but Im crap at saving, so if I put money to one side each week for that bill, i'd buy a nice new pair of shoes or something then have no gas :D

Ive got a 2bed, its on permanent just turn it up and down by the thermostat. Water's on 24/7 too.

The electric ain't bad though.

My mums putting £20 a week on her's! Maybe because she's too lazy to use the plug socket and not the standby button

EDIT; I did mean that the OTHER way round.. Look whos getting tired LOL
