happyhippy   11 #11 Posted April 13, 2009 Michael Jackson played the Don Valley Stadium about ten years ago. My mate had a narrowboat moored in Victoria Quays, and we took a leisurely route up the Don to a mooring point at Darnall before alighting for some hop squash.  The noise was easily audible where we were, and so I can (sort of) say that Michael Jackson was the turn one late summer's day in the Attercliffe Liberal Club.  The journey back down the Don was interesting, and I'm glad that that the Waterways Police didn't see Philthy's steering or mooring.  He's dead now, bless'im. I thought he was doing several dates at the O2 in London later this year as a farewell tour Edited April 13, 2009 by happyhippy fixed tags
 Share this content via...
