does the pubs still close at 10.30 pm on good friday evening ?

Licensing laws changed a good few years ago, so it's normal hours unless a venue chooses to close earlier.

They only close at half 10 on Sundays iirc, unless they have a late license.

Yeah it's all mixed nowadays, check the pub. The one I go to on Sundays opens till 1 ish.

Good Fri is a pain in that respect, always used to catch me out :rant:

Good Friday was always Sunday hours, but fortunately (since the licensing reforms) many pubs will now be licensed to open much later. :)
