They only close at half 10 on Sundays iirc, unless they have a late license.

Yeah it's all mixed nowadays, check the pub. The one I go to on Sundays opens till 1 ish.

Good Fri is a pain in that respect, always used to catch me out

Good Friday was always Sunday hours, but fortunately (since the licensing reforms) many pubs will now be licensed to open much later.
