Pekingese Or Shih Tzu or Bichon Frise Puppies Or other small dogs?

Recommended Posts

Looking for Pekingese or Shih Tzu or Bichon Frise Puppies.

Know anyone who is a selling one of the above?

Its for my grandad who loves Pekingese and Shih Tzus and as of today likes Bichon Frise (I cant even pronouce the name). Or if you know anyone who is selling other breeds o small (toy) dogs let me know.

If you have pics that would be fantastic.

I have tried AdMag,Free Ads and hundreds of other places all gone.

Within sheffield, rotherham or barnsley area would also be great but other places be ok.

If can be delivered even better.

I know there are some people on here who can help with shih tzu's or lhasa apsos - not sure about pekignese, but I would be wary about basing the puchase of a pup on 'as of today' - perhaps go with the breeds that he's known before and loved for a while :)

I know a good guy who used to breed peke's, he might be able to point you in the right direction.

Be warned though, they are a lot more expensive than a shih tzu

Good luck in finding a puppy for your Grandad it's really kind of you to think of getting him a little friend.

I just wanted to say one thing though...please don't accept a puppy that is offered to be delivered, it is highly likely to be a dog from a puppy farm which is not good at all, if you have a look on the net you will find out lots about these places, and the same with puppies that are in pet shop type places.

The very best way to get a good puppy is to go see it and make sure that the puppy is with its Mum and Dad too if at all possible, that it is well socialised and used to people, that way you will get a nice friendly and healthy friend for Grandad :)

the sound of your add makes my heart sink! have you considered a rescue dog, there are hundreds looking for homes all over the country and these poor little things may have a had bad start to life, but make the most wonderful pets. plus your grandad is sure to have a friend for life with a rescue dog, they give soooo much love back, and are so thankful for what they have, they make ideal pets for the elderly and you would also have that lovely feeling inside that you get from knowing you have saved that doggie from a life of missery and sadness.................free-ads, admag are just a breeding ground for problem dogs (not that there isn't good breeders out there who care dearly for there dogs) but how do you know where that dog has come from? it could have been stolen from its owner and sold on for quick money, or a puppy could be from a puppy farm! please consider having a look on the internet for rescued dogs, i see many, many especially shihzu's looking for new homes : ) good luck in the search, sorry if a little long but I'm passionate about dogs! : )

I already have a pekingese dog, My Grandad had a shih tzu up until july last year when the poor thing past away she was old bless her soul and was so close to each other he has not really wanted a dog again until a few weeks back because of the bond between him and his previous pup.

I know what you mean bout the farm as we once bought a pekingese from someone out of the admag and then 2 weeks later bought a second one from them then the first died 4 month later and the other about 12 months.

All other dogs we have had from different place have live for about 8/10 years but we have no contact details or even know if there are still breeding.

Initially we do want to go and see the dogs with there mum but if the distance is too far which is why we thought delivery but after thinking if its too far then i will not even consider it.

Thanks for the replys guys keep em coming.
