Hey the Allen family lived on Don Road the don pub was at the road

Could Jonny White be TONY WHITE.... he had a white dog called Snowy along with a white Budgie also.

He lodged on Ebury Street and he worked at Blaskey’s opposite Banners.

My wifes family had the Robin Hood chip shop and lived above it in a flat.

She tells tales of hard times, but lots of fun times too

Hi Nikki - Red

I went to Maltby Street School from 52 - 59 when we moved from the area. The pupils I remember best were Fred Slater, Mick Mathews, Trevor Anson, Jimmy Stanley, Linda Hibberd, Margaret Makey, Diane Onions,  Trevor Curtis (next door neighbour) 

Would be good to hear how they are all doing now. I moved away from Sheffield in 85 but still go back regularly and still think of it as home.

To continue from above, I don't remember Rita Drury but others that have come to mind are Colin Foers and Terry Beaumont. Sorry it was not Margaret Makey but Marjory and I think there was a Margaret Midlane?

Yes terry Beaumont is her brother.

Sorry I don't know about any of the ones I remember as I left the Cliffe in 1959 and lost touch with them.  Would be interesting to know where they all are now.
