Anyone come from Grimesthorpe? (Part 2)

Recommended Posts

I can remember Debbie now she lived at wincobank near to where I was lodging at the time she used to call round and visit us on Jedburgh st and the Littlewoods did live at the very bottom opposite corperation access to yard down the jennel, sue littlewood is on here under the name minetiger!

I said the littlewoods lived there just not off Willoughby between lloyd and wade if you google it you can see clearly that Willoughby doesni`t have a continuation unlike the rest of the roads that I have mentioned .Debbies Mom was called Ann and her dad was bob ,Ann worked at the Dove and Rainbow for years then went on to work as a home help after they left wincobank lane.,Bob was a regular in the ball did Karatie and worked as a lorry driver .And all different types of animal from chipmunks to monkeys they went o live at Longley ...........x

Ann and Bob live in Chapeltown now on Wortley Road, been friends with Bob as long as I can rememeber he was not only a lorry driver he also put his hand to Steel Erecting too. The Woods have had some wicked luck of late what with Debbie and then Frank.
