Look at this youtube clip about 2mins in. ------------------- Hello Walt, Many thanks for the Youtube clips of the floods in 2007, i new a chap that worked at G,P,OFFICE on Brightside Lane, he had just finished his shift and had to be airlifted, he was a bit peeved they hadn't dropped him off at home. :hihi: I think most of Sheffield felt the brunt of the floods.  ---------- Post added 03-05-2013 at 19:03 ----------  Victoria Station 1967, Anyone any Idea if there was a charge to go up/down lift, can anyone remember having to drag their luggage up the steps, PHEW. Newhall Rd bridge still floods but not as often as Upwell st. I worked on Victoria station right up to it closing, and up to the lift being taken out of service, it was still 1d(old money).
