scottf   21 #25 Posted March 31, 2009 I can't even see him being a force in the championship for much longer- he is 35 next and there is only so much advantage that height can give you.  It is probably just his agent stirring stuff up so everyone knows he is out of contract in the summer. NERVY-OWL Â Â 195 #26 Posted March 31, 2009 adebola is the last player utd should be signing, he isnt that good in the championship and in the prem he would probably get you a grand total of 1 goal
 Share this content via...
al_partridge   10 #27 Posted March 31, 2009 If you've got ambitions of going up and staying up, Adebola would be a very strange signing. He'd do a job for another year in the Championship for somebody, but he'd be a joke in the Premiership. I think I'd be distinctly unimpressed if Wednesday signed him, so God knows how Unitedites would react.  At this stage it's all just papertalk and rumour anyway. Robbie Loving   10 #30 Posted April 1, 2009 I can't even see him being a force in the championship for much longer- he is 35 next and there is only so much advantage that height can give you.  Kinda reminds me of when we all knocked NW for signing Neil Shipperley
 Share this content via...
scottf   21 #31 Posted April 1, 2009 Kinda reminds me of when we all knocked NW for signing Neil Shipperley  I agree- but shipperly was signed to get us up- not to score in the premiership.  Now if we are serious about going up we should be linked with premiership quality players not aging championship players?  I think its just papertalk to fill the columns while the international break is on though.
