If you'd bothered to read my post instead of using it as an opportunity to try to be clever, you'd have noticed that I said evenings out had been ruined. Not lunchtimes. If you think children don't go to restaurants in the evenings, you don't get out much.

I was taken here as a surprise for my birthday on Saturday (lucky me!) after reading the review and was very impressed. Firstly, the service was fantastic - absolutely faultless - attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Most importantly, the food was amazing - 6 of us went (and we all love our food!) and everyone agreed that it is a quality place. The lamb shank dish was voted the winner and was even pronounced to be one of the best meals ever! My only niggle was that the vegetarian dish of delicious herb gnochi was slightly on the small side. Other than that, a brilliant evening and a brilliant meal. Would highly recommend it!

I went for the Sunday set menu. Being greedy I had all three courses and they were all great, can't wait to go back.
