Where can I buy some charcoal in Sheffield?

ive been to about 5 petrol stations to no avail

 

also tried bnq and morrinsons and they have none

Ecclesall Woods Sawmill & it's open tomorrow, if they can't find it? it's under the open shelter at the back.

I went to Horsfields nursery, silkstone last week, they had it in big bags £3.99. they also have it loose by the weight for bulb planting. Their phone number is 01226 790441.

coz they sell them all summer

 

the DIY shops are stocking up on BBQs, so perhaps try there?

Oh, BBQ charcoal! Of course! :rolleyes:

 

At first I thought the OP might have been overcome by an artistic urge. Another poster clearly wondered if the OP might want charcoal for planting bulbs. For all I knew, it was possible that the OP required charcoal to control an acute bout of sulphurous flatulence! Clearly the OP doesn't know of the other uses for the stuff! :hihi:

there is a company called charcoal uk based in hope, nr castleton...i used to buy it by the pallett load... nice charcoal and well priced too !! about £8 for a 20 kg bag...maybe even £7

The co op has loads so I`m told (the 1 in woodhouse) I guess it depends where you are & how far you`re willing to travel
