Power Cut on Gleadless Valley, Early Hours - 14/03/09

Recommended Posts

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why this happened? The power was out to the whole of Gleadless Valley about 03.15 ish this morning, for approx 15 - 20 mins.

It set off several burgler alarms (including my brothers) and also affected the street lighting as well.

Explainations & Suggestions (not rude ones!) please! :)

From YEDL:-

Power outage was due to the hamster in the generating wheel needing to be changed....unfortunatly the H+S risk assesment took longer than expected due to the new hamster requesting more sweetcorn in his paypacket.
