I'm over in Barnsley, used to go to Reform club when i was 17-18. See if you remember any of these- Richard and the taxmen, uncool danceband, Dignity, Radiation, Injectors (later become The News). Brilliant music, brilliant times late 70's early 80's. Remember Def Leopard once played their aswell.

what about Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, Complete Madness and the very funny Discoes.

One of the Vagabonds, Alan Wood has his own agency

Jade? Female keyboard player?

Jade's first keyboard player was Keith Brownhill who cam e from "Green Carnation", he was replaced by Alan Kirk who went on to "Jimmy James & The Vagabonds" (Saw him on Top of the Pops on an old edition on Sky doing "I'll go where the music takes me last week !)

I can remember the F*** City S***ers about town in the late 80s.

Never saw them at a working mens club tho. However, some bounder did write their name in giant letters on the fence around the car park where the old hospital used to be on West Street (near where Tesco Express is now for you young uns!)
