Minimo   59 #1 Posted March 5, 2009 Does anyone know where I could get such a necklace or bracelet?  As I get older I know I would not want to live as an invalid after a stroke/heart attack. I have a living will, which I always carry with me, but a necklace would be instantly visible, and I would feel much easier if I wore one. AJ sheffield   11 #2 Posted March 5, 2009 I would rather have a DO RESUSCITATE necklace. When I pop it they will have to drag me out kicking and screaming, even if I am wearing a colostomy bag.
 Share this content via...
cgksheff   44 #3 Posted March 5, 2009 One way to do it, but it isn't cheap, is to join MedicAlert.  A necklace/tags/bracelet carries the MedicAlert emblem and medical staff will respond to this and contact MedicAlert to find out what your specific details are. You register all your details when you join. Many use this when diabetic, epileptic etc. but you can also register your living will with them.  Needs an annual subscription, though. http://www.medicalert.org.uk/index.php  Probably cheaper to get a tattoo! Minimo   59 #8 Posted March 6, 2009 Thanks for the suggestions, I will check those out.  And apologies to Redissert and Sarah1 for the confusion. I think it was me having a senior moment in not making up a better title.
 Share this content via...

Minimo   59 #12 Posted March 6, 2009 Well I have to admit Minimo, I've always thought you were a lass in her 20's..you're going to tell me you're a bloke in his 70's??  Gosh I don't know whether to be flattered or not.  My posts frequently mention my age so, on the one hand you must have missed those, but then other posts must have made me sound young.  For the record I'm 61 and female.  What I'm not telling is whether I'm one of those women who always knock a few years off.
