I thought it would have been a giraffe! Otherwise they would have to have some very long beds for them to sleep in!

All grazing animals can sleep standing up, it is to do with their digestion system, if they lay down for long periods it causes crushing on their ribs and that in turn crushes their intestines and guts.

 

Giraffs only usually sit or lie down when giving birth because of their knees, it is very difficult for them to get back up again

I think that it would probably mean the biggest baby in comparison to the mum? After all if you think about the strongest creature, you would automatically think of 'blue whale, elephant' etc but it is an 'ant' which can carry up to 10 times its own body weight? (I know it's an insect!!)

9, I'd say elephant, if the question was mammal the answer would be a whale

 

Eh? An elephant is a mammal. Whichever has the biggest young, elephant or whale, then whether the question refers to an animal or a mammal, the answer would be the same.
