I remember the great smells of the 80's

 

The smell of urine under the hole in the road

The smell of the brewery on Bridge street while I waited for the bus, as a kid I hated that.

The smell fumes when you sat on the back seat of the bus.

The smell of more fumes on High Street clogged with buses.

The smell of the chippys as you walked past.

Being a horrid spelling Nazi, I expect shops in buildings to be STATIONARY shops. That means they don't move about.

Some of the stationary shops are STATIONERY shops, and sell pens, paper and such.

If it stAnds still (with an A) it's stationary; if it sells stuff to write lEttErs (with an E) it's stationery.
