upholder   10 #13 Posted September 11, 2003 Mmmh how long will it take to sue 5 million people (conservative guess) It's a joke, why don't the RIAA get real.
 Share this content via...
John   11 #14 Posted September 11, 2003 They will be 100% successful in suing people.  Sue 250 odd people and some of those are likely to go to Jail.  It will become national news and it will scare some people to stop doing it.  Would it make you think twice?  They will never get everyone like you say, but they will use any method to scare people and a 12 year old girl is no exception.  It is quite obvious that the music industry need to do something and I'm not sure what - reducing the price is a start and possibly join the MP3 bangwagon but I can't for the life of me see how it going to work because despite what people claim, far more people have NO intention of paying for music that they really like and play it all day long.  Incidently, did anyone see the advert on Channel4 where they have got pop stars saying don't rip off music?
