"The Saturdays" and Comic Relief single

Recommended Posts

My ears are bleeding from the awful cover of Depeche Mode's "I Just Can't Get Enough" by a girl band called "The Saturdays".

They look and sound exactly like Girls Aloud, so I'm sat here wondering quite what the point is?

I think I need someone younger to try and enlighten me.

Im 25 so maybe I'm too old too? Any 12 year olds care to shed any light?

Ugh, just the kind of "seen it all before" pop pap the likes of Simon "I suck" Cowell would lap up.

50p says their record will get to #1 the first week it comes out.

You'd think they'd learnt their lesson from "Walk This Way" the other year.

I can safely say now The Saturdays will not be around in 12 months time. The good thing about 'pop' music is that it doesn't float; it either flies off the shelf (or download in this modern context) or it dissapears quickly.*

Anything that gets the original played.

Brilliant song... we were in the Old House the other week and the music had gone off and the lights had come up.

Someone requested the original...PLEASE?

... the lovely Mr Tango obliged.... the lights went down...

Do.do.dudo.do.do.do.do.

do.do.dudo.do.dodo!

Do.do.do.dudo.do.do.

doo.doo.doo.doo....

and the place went mental! ACE! :D

Just watching them on ITV2 now. What a brainless bunch of bimbos. I can't see any difference between them and Girls Aloud (except they don't have a Ginner).

If there's room in the market for two of these kinds of bands the British music scene is in a worse state than I thought.

To be fair they are slowly removing the "minger" factor from their band!
