cathy22 Â Â 10 #1 Posted February 16, 2009 My laptop keeps disorting the sound - whether music on the hard drive, playing a cd or the audio sounds that play. They distort, sounding very wobbly, then they might play ok for a while, but if I try to do anything else on the computer, the sound slows right down. Been searching on internet for answers and found many similar references but don't understand most of the answers! Anyone able to help me out? Ghozer   112 #2 Posted February 16, 2009 Sounds like you have too much running in the background, playing music uses the processor, if there's programs using the processor, they get higher priority than the music, so the music chops, and distorts till its done.  Give it a spyware check and clean out, virus check for good measure, go through your add/remove programs, and check whats in startup (if you don't know how, just let us know)
 Share this content via...
