terry457   10 #266 Posted November 5, 2012 Hi i'm from Jubilee rd and remember the people you mentioned. I am related to the Darbys my cousin Derek ( Dick ) passed away last year I was in touch with him until he died, if you remember him he was rather a tough guy. I have very fond memories of our Dick!!!. The other people you mention I knew them well. Jacky Cooper has a caravan on the same site as me in Skeggy, small world Jubilee rd to Skeggy.  I have very fond memories of Jubilee road and still regard it as my home. When I was a kid I used to deliver milk with Roy the coop milkman and used to do a couple of streets with him before I went to school for some spending money. Good days !!!!!  You must be one of the stevens family then? I knocked around with mick darby, I think margaret stevens lived next door to them but I might be wrong with that. I can also remember the older one that worked for king cole (think he was a pigeon man) was it eric ? and another one that used to drink with us in the duke I think he married one of the biltons I think.Jacky is always telling me about the caravan site hope I've got the right familie here!
