I dont have a photo but I used to visit on a Sunday dinner time with my Dad.......It was in the fifties when I was a young girl... I hated the place rather dull not a place for a young girl....not many women went drinking then, they were all at home cooking Sunday Dinner.

thanks for the reply. my friends grandad was chairman or something. i think it was in the 70s or 80s. were trying yo get a photo for her dad. sounds like he spent many happy hours there.

I was dragged to the club sunday lunch as well to sit quietly while granddad played bingo!!! mind you the club trip to Cleethorpes was brilliant

We did all sit quietly in those days......Never went on the club trip. My Dad loved the place.

If you went down coleford rd. towards greenland rd. then crossed over, it was down there on the right, just at the end there.
