Are you sure it was the Esquire ? As I saw the Yardbirds at the Mojo.

The Yardbirds were a prolific touring band in their early days.It is more than cnceivable that they played both gigs.I think they also played the City Hall or Gaumont or both after they had some hit records ,but that would be with Beck or Page or both. Eric left after For Your Love,he didn't like their "new direction"

I've always liked Beck's directions, post-Yardbirds ('Hi Ho Silver Lining' aside).
