klindon99 Â Â 10 #14 Posted September 25, 2011 Used Foxhill Garage for many years and take my car there for the MOT every year, they are down to earth people and dont offer a pushy "we will fix it for you" policy. Even when my cars have failed the have always offered good sound advice.
 Share this content via...
RootsBooster   24 #15 Posted September 25, 2011 After a few weeks my car developed a noise from the wheel area, I took it to 3 different local garages ATS, KwikFit, and Halfords MOT garage and none of them could find the problem and advised that I went to the main dealer and paid £60 for them to just take a look at it. LOL, can they actually be called garages?  I've never used Foxhill garage so I cannot comment on them. I always recommend Hi Q of Leppings Lane (unless the car is a FIAT) because they are honest and they have never let us down.  For FIATS we only use Riverside FIAT of Loxley Road because they are an independent FIAT specialist. What they don't know about FIATS isn't worth knowing.  I also recommend ASDA Parson Cross and I don't work there either. . . .  No, but you do work at Hi-Q as we all know!  Thanks for the info on Asda though, didn't know they fix cars now too. Might give them a try next time!
 Share this content via...
best sheff   10 #16 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) I have used fox hill garage and found them fine. In fact once gave help and asked for nothing as only took a few minutes to put right. Yes I did find them expensive but on shopping around found all to be just about the same.  But the most important thing I found with this gargage is that if you took you're car back regarding the repair, they listened and acted to sort out the problem.  So all in all a good garage. I don't work for them, wish I did, then I wouldn't have to pay to have my car mended, as would have the skills to do so self. linzday   10 #17 Posted September 25, 2011 I've never used them as a garage but I've been stood at the bus stop outside with my daughter several times and can safely say that every other word that came out of their mouths was the f word. I have heard more bad than good about them in general and several people seem to have had to return their cars there after "repairs" had been completed! Whether they then look at it again for free or charge, is irrelevant, if you take your car for something fixing you should have to take it back again straight after! If you watch carefully you'll see their wings.  Their 'F' words only include filter, fuel pipe and Fabulous Customers. . . . Stereophonic   10 #22 Posted September 26, 2011 If you are near that area I would use the Ghia Garage on Penistone Road instead.
 Share this content via...

verynaughty   10 #24 Posted September 28, 2011 I have just took my car to Foxhill garage on Foxhill Road and found them to be quite helpful, my car needs to go in for a different propblem now but people have said there are rumours that the garage is bad news, anyone heard the same?  Well I bought a car from them last night, and they were absolutely brilliant, couldn't ask for more, they even delivered it to my daughters house for her.  Shane and Grant lovely lads
 Share this content via...
