Word has it that the Crown will re-open next Wednesday, 17th March 2010 under a new licensee. Just in time for Paddy's day.

Well, after the last let-down by the Pubco, don't hold your breath. After the last experience it underlines the desperation that the pubco's have to get someone (clearly ANYONE) to take their premises on. Their only interest is making (or not losing) money they really don't care about the pub or the community. It's gonna be interesting - fingers crossed.
