Nether edge as a place to live

can anyone tell me what nether edge is like as a place to live? thanx

my brother in law just moved away from there after suffering abuse and attacks (lived nr broadfield pub). local youths put his window thro on christmas day :-(

unfortunately that particular area nr the pub has gone down hill massively, he lived there for 28yrs.

It covers quite an area, some of which is grotty and some of whic his still very nice. Where abouts in Netheredge?

There are some good areas, as mentioned above the areas around Sheldon and Empire Roads have gone downhill lately. There are quieter nicer areas to Nether Edge though, so it's not all bad.

As above some areas are lovely - Chelsea rd, Brincliffe Edge rd, Kenwood rd, and the area around the Union Pub. The roads mentioned earlier and around the Jacksons shop and down Sheldon rd towards Abbeydale Rd have become more run down looking with litter and graffitti.

 

I used to live on Adelaide Rd which was quiet and lovely :-)

Generally the further away from Abbeydale Road the nicer it gets.
