ABC streets and Burton St school

Did anybody out there live in the ABC street or know anybody who did.I was born in Anlaby St in 1941 and went to Burton St school.I would love to hear about my friends from them days.Micheal Mginley[Cuthbert bank]Tony Wetherall[?][bamford street and Beverly Booth who lived in Brough Street.There were others but too numerous to mention.:thumbsup:

Did you go to Marlcliffe after you left Burton St? If you were called "Peanuts" at Marlcliffe I think I may know you.

A friend of mine had a relative who owned a shop at the and of the ABC Streets in the late 60's --Les Blackwell -- was the sons name if I remember right.

my aunt lived on driffield street in the 60,s and very early 70,s,doreen williams,husband was called les,they had 2 kids,christine and david.
