Ford Fiesta heater problem

Recommended Posts

My Fiesta 1.25.Zetec has developed a falut with the heater. The fan works fine but I can't get any heat out of it. I've checked the voltage at the coolant valve and it shows 12v no matter what the setting is at the temperature control in the car. The car doesn't overheat but I suspect ther temperature controller. Anyone got any clues please...is it a duff controller??Unfortunately I haven't been able to remove the radio to check connections at the temperature controller.

Check the pollen filter, a blocked filter will stop air entering the heater thus no hot air, common fault on fords & vauxhalls
