Basin Walk on new years day

Have i heard right that a walk will start on New years day at Sheffield Basin around the city, cant find any info on it anywhere.

Had a look on the Sheffield Ramblers site and the Sheffield Walking Group and can't find anything

Could this be the Forum Walking Group walk on the 4th January which starts at the Harlequin pub and finishes at the Canal Basin (or the Harlequin for those needing refreshments) see this thread

There is a New Years Day walk starting at Endcliffe Park. I'm sure Scoobz has posted info in Walkers Group.

Yep, New Years Day walk - Porter Valley - starts at 12.00 noon.
