Scabbydog   10 #1 Posted December 29, 2008 Which is the worst accent in Britain?... or even the UK for that matter.  I have just finished a phone conversation with someone from Bolton. Oh dear, it was pretty bad, but not as bad as the accent in Dudley.  Still you must have an accent that makes you cringe. Which is it? Kthebean   10 #2 Posted December 29, 2008 I think the incredibly posh accent is difficult to listen to. Those that say 'het' instead of 'hat'. I can't take them seriously.
 Share this content via...

bizzle   10 #6 Posted December 29, 2008 Birmingham/West Midlands is by far the worst accent!  It does grate on me too but the most annoying accent that does grate on me is the Welsh, sorry to anyone who has a welsh accent but by eck I want to slap someone when I hear that accent...hearing that accent does bring out the hulk in me. I am also not keen on the Barrrrrrrrrnsley accent that just sounds
 Share this content via...
