well,the fools will insist on going to meadow hell . what a horrible place it is.

Just stop to think for a minute about how many folks from out of the area go there to spend their money & also how many local folks are employed there.

Odd isn't it,

 

we went to Meadowhall Saturday and it was really quiet on the roads, easy to park.

 

The malls themselves got quite busy after lunch but once inside any shops it was half empty, no queues at tills apart from HMV.

 

Yesterday had a walk up town and again was pretty quiet, not much happening. Traffic was gridlocked but thats accepted for a city centre that closes off any alternative routes.

Yep, all us fools who have worked every day but one during the last two weeks, and have no time to shop when town is actually open.
