crunky   10 #3 Posted December 8, 2008 try downloading Opera or use internet explorer, this will help you search for help if this doasnt help then you 'hosts' file could have been altered, read about how this is done at  http://www.adoko.com/hijackers-host.html  Unfortunately without knowing the specific virus that caused the problem theres no real advice to give as to getting rid of it. Once you do have it sorted may i suggest the following programs to help.  http://www.comodo.com/  A FREE security suite  Also http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html  A program that blocks dodgey sites, also it has a feature that enables you to record the settings of either IE7/FireFox/Opera so that if they are chaged you can change them back  and finally http://www.superantispyware.com/  A good FREE antispyware program that can be used for on demand scanning
 Share this content via...

Download, install, update and run Malwarebytes. Have it remove anything it finds. Then got to Trend Micro and run Housecall. Have it remove anything it finds. Reboot your computer and run Housecall again. If it fnds nothing the second time your computer is clean.  Good luck
 Share this content via...

meltdown   10 #9 Posted January 15, 2009 Poeple have gave decent replys.  You have whats called malware otherwords known as a virus,  Useally from porn or warez, related websites.  Please use a virus scanner to clean your computer i would run at least 2/3 different virus scanners and then defrag your computer system to ensure it has been fully cleaned.  Thanks, Adam
 Share this content via...
