Location114   10 #1 Posted December 3, 2008 Just another general question how funny but annoying is CHAV talk?? In my mums area they seem to pride themselfes on being CHAVS they absolutely love it and im not saying its a bad thing because its just there way of life and personally i dont stereotype anyone however I must say CHAVS do make me chuckle I live in rotherham and my mate comes from sheffield and when I see or speak to him he has me in pure stitches when he uses his CHAV talk he says fings like  sound blud whats happenin bruv?? (not his brother by the way) safe G sippin the Ds  now the thing that gets me the most about is I laugh at it because half of the time I dont actually understand what hes saying however as much of a CHAV as he is I wouldnt say hes proud of its just the way HE as a person is however he doesnt seem to realise that im not on his level and dont understand all this chav talk.  anyway less of the essay just wondered what other people thought of it?? Fishcake   10 #8 Posted December 3, 2008 shizzle ma nizzle is not sheffield talk. It means "For sure my ni*^er" and could be offensive if said by the qwrong person to the wrong person or however you want to look at it.  I know loads of young people who say things and I have no idea what they mean. What is the popular hit parade for example or this rock and or roll music?
 Share this content via...

Ouija   10 #10 Posted December 3, 2008 I don't like it. I don't like any kind of chavviness. Although I'm forced to accept that not everybody who identifies themselves as a chav is a violent waste of space, to me the word "CHAV" is an acronym, and the "V" stands for violent. So, although some of them might just "talk the talk" without "walking the walk", I think it's awful. To me it's like agreeing with true "chav" behaviour even if you don't do it all yourself. And why would you want to do that??
 Share this content via...
