Got a print queue full of rubbish, how do I cancel all jobs in one go?

cancel OKI321 cancels one entry at a time, how do i wipe the entire queue?

No longer a problem, I have worked around it (created a hot key to send "cancel OKI321{en}" to putty, from my windows machine with powerpro on - I don't have x installed on my servers.) Still took a bloody long time though!

Glad you sorted it. my suggestion would be to restart the CUPS daemon

cancel -a cancels all jobs. Restarting the daemon does not clear jobs, just for future reference :)

Restarting the daemon would clear the print queue for all users on all printers, wouldn't it? Not brave enough to try this:hihi:

I suppose if I go into a terminal and find the spool files and rm OKI321* that would do it but might shaft any form of indexing the spooler does. Not really had time to look into it.

Just tried it on my FC8 box and restarting the daemon did not remove all the jobs. :)
