Blake st is the steepest hill in sheffield my mum lived in one of the new houses at the bottom glad it wasnt at the top, i was almost on my hands and knees getting to mums.

Although Hagg hill was terrifuying when my brakes failed at the top and i smashed into a works van on Rivellin Valley Road.

Blake Street Upperthorpe

Remember races up the hill. Fastest to the Blake pub won a prize. Free beer I guess. Blake recently re-opened maybe the tradition could be resurected. Got a Honda bike now but expect I would get disqualified.

There's a really steep hill in Wincobank, begins with J. Can't remember the name offhand.

Sheffield is like Rome and Prague - built on seven hills.

according to the council, its actually built on 8.
