Kent Road, Heeley / Meersbrook, without a doubt.

Yes, Kent Road is another contender, forgot all about that.

There's a really steep hill in Wincobank, begins with J. Can't remember the name offhand.

Sheffield is like Rome and Prague - built on seven hills.

Cobnar Road, just off Chesterfield Road in Woodseats gets really steep at the top.

I think it's Jenkin Road, very steep near the top.

Problem with Blake Street if it is the steepest it's not very long compared with Hagg Hill or some of the others that have been mentioned.

If you think that route is steep, try following the footpath up Wincobank from Brightside near Upwell Street ;)

I'd climb the brow of one section, only to see another twice as high! I think it follows the path of the old Roman road when the Hill was occupied about 2000 years ago.

Does that count :D

Dunno the names... but in Walkley there are loads of streets with hand rails to help you climb up them!

I'd definitely say Blake street.

I watched the Blake Street dash last year, and it was funny to see loads of blokes run up the street for the chance of winning some free beer.

I'd say Blake Street as well.

Nearby Wellfield Road (parallel to bottom end of Springvale Road) would also make a useful ski slope.

And the bit of Walkley Lane just below the Florist is well nigh vertical take off.

The hand rails on the steep roads round Walkley were there long before students started living in the area.

I reckon that Kent Road at Heeley is the steepest hill in Sheffield, although there are some more in different areas, which are very steep, cannot prove it because I have never done any checking.
