Greybeard   10 #220 Posted December 3, 2008 This snow isn't gong to stick around for long at lower levels and will probably be gone by lunchtime, but early morning it will be driven by winds of up to 30mph so roads at higher levels could be quickly re-covered after initial clearance, - the gritters will be fighting a losing battle.  Progress can be followed here... http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html  Tomorrow morning could be just as bad with black ice forecast for many areas.
