i served my time at ashleigh, and andrew proctor was in my class in the 2nd year, which was miss blagdens class. his junior school started ashleigh seniors in the 2nd year for some reason, where my junior school started in the 1st, we must have been thicker.

andrew proctor was mad about karate, at about the time when bruce lee was the rage. his friend who must have gone to the same junior school, was gary kisby. i do have a school photo with andrew on it.

i know andrew dissapeared round about the 3rd or 4th year, when i asked someone what had happend to him, i think i was told he had been in a car accident and passed away. glad that was wrong.

miss blagden wore the shortest mini skirts. alan broadhead

as I mentioned in my response some time ao to Scout's remeniscence about AP, I know andy.

I saw him only a few weeks ago. He's doing ok.

Hi Mr Tingle you were at the school when it was CTS in 66 and I think if my memory is correct you taught a science subject at the same time as Don Woolhouse and Pop Gregory.

I was at Ashleigh in the mid 70s.I can remember Joy Pratt,Alyson King and the Worralls( Louise in particular). The last I heard, Joy pratt lived at Woodseats and Alyson was living in Stourbridge, West Midlands. She is a physiotherapist.

I can also remember Glyn Tipper, though I think he was a bit older than me.

Hi any of the originals out there?

I was in my 5th year at Hurlfield Girls when the school changed to Ashleigh.

No more pulling your stockings up on the corridor and horror of horrors they turned one of our girlie toilets into a men only one!!

Teachers were Mr Pickering Mr and Mrs Blagden Mr White. Mr Fyffe was the headteacher.

We thought we had died and gone to heaven as we had boys all day long. No longer had to trek down to the hedge and chat over the bushes!!

Love to talk to anyone who was there........................1970 ish:|
